2016928 · BNi-6 is a low melting eutectic nickel brazing alloy used in applications which require high strength and oxidation resistance. Its composition makes it suitable for the brazing of nickel, super alloys and other assemblies which require good joint strength at high temperatures with excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance.
2023322 · Typically available in paste, powder, spray, foil, preforms, tape forms. Used for brazing stainless steels, superalloys at high temperatures. AMS 4775. Similar to Ni-73 but with lower carbon content. AMS 4776. Alloy with low brazing temperature. Ideal for thick parts of SS, nickel & cobalt base alloys. Available in foil and preforms.
BNi-6 is the AWS designation for this material. N99700 is the UNS number. It has the lowest melting temperature among the nickel-based brazing fillers in the database. The graph bars on the material properties cards below compare AWS BNi-6 to: nickel-based brazing fillers (top), all nickel alloys (middle), and the entire database (bottom).
